“Damage”
Too much
Too much damage
I can’t take it all myself
Broken
Held together
Will I recognize what’s left?
Hearing voices
Telling me I’m still scared
Run don’t hide
Everything is not alright
I can’t find your face
Is it you or me?
Someone out there calling
Moving
Through the wreckage
I can’t seem to catch my breath
Passion
For aggression
Easy fix, easy out
Screaming voices
Telling me to calm down
Run don’t hide
Everything is not alright
I can’t find your face
Is it you or me?
Something out there calling
Lyrics by Jordan Weaver
“Blacked It Out”
Bankrupted imbecile
Lost count but got my fill
Blank slate recollection
Can’t fake this connection
It’s not hard to see
Why make this easier for me?
I blacked it
I blacked it
I blacked it out
Distorted from the lens
Light shines is never seen again
Flashbacks like a faucet
Some sucker for nostalgia
Rewrite memories
Incomplete loves company
I blacked it
I blacked it
I blacked it out
lyrics by Jordan Weaver
"It's Mine"
Dominate your cancer
Satisfy your temper
Child in the boardroom
Justified to consume, it all
I will get mine
Because it's mine
I will get mine
Narcissistic leader
Parasitic healer
Young girl in the back room
Glorified to undo, it all
I will get mine
Because it's mine
I will get mine
I've got small hands but I'll take it I'll take it
Deviate your morals
Signal downward spiral
Old man in the war room
Televised to ruin, it all
I will get mine
Because it's mine
I will get mine
Lyrics by Jordan Weaver
"Give Me Poison"
Dying to lose control
I feel it in my bones
Give me Poison
It’s coursing right
Through me
Won’t stop moving
Let me prove it
I’m above everything
Dying to take control
Hate to be alone
Give me poison
It’s coursing right
Through me
Won’t stop moving
Let me prove it
I’m above everything
Won’t stop moving
Let me prove it
I’m above everything
Can’t stop moving
Can’t stop moving
Can’t stop moving
Can’t stop moving
I can’t move
Lyrics by Jordan Weaver
"The Wheel And The Blade"
Everyday we make the same mistake
One foot in the cradle and the grave
It rips a part of me cause I want it
Grips and won't release, I don't care
Every night we plan for our escape
One hand on the wheel and the blade
It rips a part of me cause I want it
Grips and won't release I don't care
It rips a part of me cause I want it
Grips and won't release I don't care
I don't care cause I want it....
It rips a part of me cause I want it
Grips and won't release I don't care
It rips a part of me cause I want it
Grips and won't release I don't care
Lyrics by Jordan Weaver
about
This EP was written and recorded over the past few years in various practice spaces and basements. In some ways each song was its own experiment. We had a lot of fun making it so we hope you enjoy it.
